Unfortunately I speak no French so I can’t judge the content, but the design of this Unsigne looks promising for Gallic fans of Mass Customization.

The NYT covers ModCloth a start up that sells vintage clothes online. Not customized clothing, but an interesting intersection of design and tech.

6,000 Hour Model of a P-51 Mustang

A dentist spent the equivalent of 3 working years crafting this exquisite model of a fighter plane. Click through to get a sense of the detail and scale in this masterpiece.

Continuing with theĀ  crafted carnage, this wooden tank is just one of many hardwood contraptions on display. Click through to see a Jenga pistol, Wooden gear maker, and other cool projects.

50 Wooden CNC Joints

Tools like ShopBot are enabling craftspeople to dramatically increase their “toolbox” and do things that would be prohibitively time consuming otherwise. These joints are an example of the trend.
